Veeral Patel

I initially discovered Veeral's work through the Cycling Tips website, then started to follow his blog as he made the move from a steady full time job in IT, to the brave new world of a full-time photographer.

I actually wanted to pay to spend a day following Veeral around and see how he worked...but he couldn't do it because he was in Italy following the Giro D'Italia. So now about 3 years later, it was great to sit down and have a chat about how he got into cycling photography and what keeps him going. It was also great to have him tell the story behind an amazing photo he got of cyclist Pierre Roland on the day he had narrowly missed winning a stage at the Giro.
